Modernising

A little known mechanics shop I was wiring up in 1991 somewhere near Weybridge gave me some advice for suspension mods, which when I completed the works on my Calypso all those years ago meant that I was cornering at speeds most Senators and Astra could not match.

It was 1991, those T shirts were allowed then.

So that will be the final set of modifications:
Gas spax set to 75% pressure on rear
A bracket
Multi leaf clamps on single leafs (to fit the A bracket under),
 - this lowers the rear by an inch so, 190lb front springs compressed and tied by one ring with gas spax set at 50% on 2.8i struts
2.8i servo with braided steel breaklines to front and 4 pot calipers.

It was also recommended to me to replace the standard rear spoiler with a roof spoiler to improve the airflow at er, motorway speeds, but I think not this time.
